Morecambe Winter Gardens

As part of an ‘illumination’ project for Morecambe and Lancashire County Council. Collaborative with Claire Norcross (Habitat lighting designer) and the Manchester Design LAB. My focus was on re-creating the atmosphere and romance of the 1930’s in the (currently derelict) Winter Gardens Theatre. The final images portray the melancholic narrative of a jilted young women waiting anxiously in the grand entrance hall of the theatre.
