Windows of Widnes

This is a collaborative project between myself, Manchester based design consultancy United Creatives and urban regeneration group URBED. Working closely with Halton Borough Council as part of their initiative to re-brand and re-invigorate Widnes Town Centre. Community based window installations in vacated shop spaces celebrate the charming town’s local heroes and characters, the unique market place serves as a sea of inspiration for working class heroes that will be transported to their own miniature set within the window scheme. Locals may get the chance to vote for their favorite ‘local heroes’ through the Widnes website or Facebook pages later seeing them come to life in the display on their very own high street.
